General Trip Policies
- PSSA membership is not required
- Reservations are accepted after trip registration costs have been paid in full
- Payment can be made through the applicable trip sign up form.
- Members now have the option of paying from their bank account or using a credit card.
- Trip coordinators maintain the participant list
- Minors (under the age of 18) must submit a CONSENT FORM or be accompanied by a parent
- Buses for trips, if applicable, leave at 6:00AM for day trips and 6:00PM for weekend-long trips. Get there early so you don’t get left behind.
- Non-alcoholic beverages are provided on the trips (Note: alcoholic beverages will no longer be provided on weekend trips, but are permitted for adults over the age of 21).
Weekend Trip Details And Policies
Full weekend trips include bus transportation, a wine and cheese party Saturday evening with raffle prizes, lift tickets for Saturday and Sunday, and accommodations. Big Sky’s accommodations are at a condo which is within walking distance to a lift. Jackson Hole’s accommodations are at a hotel in town with provided transportation to the mountain.
- Reservations are made by paying the deposit or, if required, the full amount at least 30 days before the trip.
- A trip deposit must be paid at the time of sign-up in order to reserve your seat for the trip.
- The balance of the trip fee should be paid 30 days prior to the departure date of the trip, though the final balance due dates are set by the trip coordinator.
- If a cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to the trip departure, full refunds are only possible if someone can fill a last-minute cancellation. The refund will be calculated after the trip has been completed. It is your responsibility to contact the trip planner for a refund. If you have not made contact by May of the season, the refund will be forfeit.
- A minimum of 20 paid participants required for bus travel. Fewer than 20 will move to car pooling.
2025 Adult Trips:
Unfortunately, there are no PSSA adult trips scheduled for this season. The prices for buses and lodging have significantly increased, there are no longer group rates for ski clubs, and the number of club participants has steadily decreased. Adults are welcome, however, on the PSSA day trips to other ski areas.
Day Trip Details And Policies
Youth trips discount rates are dependent on group size and vary between ski resorts. If the number of people on the trip does not meet a ski resort’s size minimum, the discount rate is subject to change. The transportation fees for youths are covered by PSSA, but not for adults.
- YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP BY TWO BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP!
- A completed CONSENT FORM must be submitted for youth before they may board the bus.
- Payment for youth trips is due in full at the time of sign-up. Refunds are only recoverable if someone can be found to take the place of the person signed up.
- Payment can be made through the applicable trip sign up form.
- Participants now have the option of paying from their bank account or using a credit card.
- Adults may sign up for a seat on the Youth Trip Bus, but preference is given to youth if trip space is restricted.
