Join Pocatello Ski and Snowboard Association and enjoy the many benefits our membership!
Based in Pocatello, Idaho, PSSA is proud to serve as the home club for skiers and snowboarders in South Eastern Idaho. There are many opportunities to enjoy resorts within a few hours drive, and in normal years we are proud to partner with these fantastic areas to provide discounted day and weekend trips for PSSA members in addition to discounts at participating local merchants. As a club, we coordinate the Pocatello Ski Swap, PSSA youth ski days at Pebble Creek, Stacy Smith Races, and the Town Challenge Race.
The 2020-2021 ski season will be quite different from the ones in the past, and hopefully from the ones in the future. Like many of our ski area partners who are implementing precautions to keep skiers and boarders active but safe, PSSA is adjusting plans for the current pandemic environment. After careful consideration, the PSSA Board has decided that the risk of bus trips to regional ski areas is too great during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, Jackson Hole has informed us that their heavily discounted lift ticket vouchers will not be available this year. We are currently looking at the possibility of trips where we provide discounted lift tickets and lodging, but you drive to the resort.
We will continue to give our current PSSA members a 2020-2021 season PSSA coupon book. This coupon book includes a 10% discount on lift tickets for Grand Targhee.
Given our limited offerings this year, we will extend the membership from 2019-2020 into the 2020-2021 season. In other words, if you were a PSSA member in 2019-2020, you will automatically become a current season member with no additional fee. You may pick up your 2020-2021 season PSSA coupon books at Barrie’s Ski and Sports after Nov. 9, 2020.
If you were not a PSSA member last season, but would still like to join the club in order to obtain a coupon book, you may purchase a 2020-2021 season PSSA membership and pick up your coupon book at Barrie’s Ski and Sports after Nov. 9, 2020.
